OVERSEAS JOB HIRING AND LOCAL JOB FAIR ON MAY 1, 2017

Are you looking for a job? Do you want to work in a local industry or want to become an OFW? If you are in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu City, Mandaue City or nearby areas, many job opportunities can be applied during the May 1, Labor Day Overseas and Local Recruitment Fair.

Here are overseas and local job hiring in Central Luzon.

The PESO Lapu-Lapu City overseas and local job fair on May 1, 2017 is in coordination with Department of Labor and Employment, Philippine Overseas Employment Administration and the Lapu-Lapu City government. Many job opening for local and overseas work can be applied during the recruitment fair.

Local job vacancies include opening in manufacturing (MEZ and neighboring areas), call center, retail, supermarket, food industry, construction, services and other employment areas.

Among the many overseas work opportunities are jobs for nurses, medical doctors, medical technicians, cruise ships employment (maintenance, gym, pool, spa/salon, lifeguard, others), factory worker, caretaker, fabricators/ welders/ construction jobs, restaurant positions and many more employment vacancies.

How to Apply

Are you interested to apply for your desired position? Then, come personally during the PESO job Fair on May 1, 2017. It will be held in Hoopsdome, Lapu-Lapu City starting 8AM on May 1.

Steps to Follow for the May 1 Local and Overseas Job Fair

Step 1- Registration. You need to fill-up the DOLE form

Step2 – Go to the Shopping Area (In this area, the names of the companies and corresponding vacancies are posted)

Step 3- Proceed to Screening Area. Here, personnel from DOLE, POEA and Peso will check your documents, requirements and credentials.

Step 4- Interview/ Examination by hiring company, recruitment agency or establishment

Step 5- Evaluation of your application (whether hired on the spot/ not hired)

NOTE:

PESO will conduct the 2^nd and 3^rd Step above on April 28 & 29, 2017 at PESO Lapu-Lapu City Office from 8AM to 5PM. For applicants who cannot come on the above dates may do these steps during the May 1 Recruitment Fair.

The Lapu-Lapu City PESO office is located on the 2^nd floor of Lapu-Lapu City Hall in Pajo, Lapu-Lapu City.

Requirements of all Overseas Job Applicants

Applicants need to bring the following during the Job Fair

• Resume with detailed job description
• 2X2 colored ID photo
• Certificate of Employment
• Training Certificate (if available)
• Photocopy of Passport

May 1 Job Fair OFW candidates  must have work experience relevant to the position he/she is applying.

As for local job applicants, PESO did not specify the required documents to be brought during the job fair. However, it is advisable to bring the same requirements above except the passport photocopy.

Among the POEA licensed recruitment agencies which will be recruiting workers for overseas employment during the job fair are: Magsaysay Maritime Corporation, East West Placement Center Inc., Max Phils. In’t Promotion Inc., IEMPLOY Manpower Services Inc., Y HMD Int’l Manpower Services, Al-Alamia Int’l Manpower Services, MIP International Manpower Services, Concept Placement Resources Inc., FVJ Overseas Placement Inc.
